Metz vs Rennes – Metz win or draw double chance at 8/11

Metz are in a gruelling fight for Ligue 1 survival and the relegation-battlers have bared their teeth over the past few weeks, winning two of their last three games to bring them level on points with Le Havre above them.

Visitors Rennes still harbour some European ambitions, but they have only won one of their last five league away games and could be set to drop more points on Saturday.

Real Madrid vs Cadiz – Real Madrid -1 handicap at 19/20

Real Madrid have the chance to win La Liga this weekend if results go their way and they should have little trouble at home to third-bottom Cadiz.

Real have kept a clean sheet in seven of eight home meetings with bottom-half teams, while they’ve outscored opponents 27-4 in the second half of their games at the Bernabeu this season. With Cadiz losing all five visits to the top six so far – conceding 14 and scoring only three times – back Real to win by a couple of goals.

Cartagena vs Alcorcon – Cartagena to win at 11/10

Cartagena looked to be heading towards the La Liga 2 trapdoor for the first half of the season but an awesome turnaround means they head into the latest round of games four points clear of danger.

They face a team who have dropped into trouble in the shape of Alcorcon on Saturday, and they can add to the visitors’ woes by claiming all three points.

Cartagena have won their last two games without conceding and they have six wins in their last eight at their Municipal Cartagonova home. Alcorcon have managed to steady the ship a little of late but their road form remains an issue and they’ve lost five of their last six away, so back Cartagena to pick up a win here.

Ross County vs Hibernian – Hibernian to win at 1/1

A top-six finish would have been the least of Hibs’ expectations at the start of the Scottish Premiership season, but that never materialised for Nick Montgomery’s men. That being said, the Leith side do look a class above their post-split rivals.

Hibs hammered St Johnstone 3-1 in Perth last time out in a dominant display, and I would have the Easter Road outfit odds on to win at Ross County on Saturday. The Staggies have won only three of their last 20 matches and they were even turned over by bottom club Livingston last weekend.

Tom Hill

Rotherham vs Cardiff – Cardiff to win at 6/5

Rotherham’s relegation to League One has already been confirmed and they are unlikely to pose Cardiff any problems.

The Millers have failed to win any of their last five, while they could not find the back of the net in any of those encounters.

Cardiff can finish as high as ninth if results go their way this weekend, and the Bluebirds look good value for an away win.

While they lost 4-1 to Middlesbrough last week, they have won three of their previous five on the road, and they should have too much quality for Steve Evans’ goal-shy outfit.

Liam Flin

Plymouth vs Hull – Hull to win at 1/1

This is a crucial final-day tussle for both Plymouth and Hull in the Championship and the visiting Tigers are worth backing.

West Brom’s inconsistencies mean Hull could secure a playoff berth with victory in this match and they are in fine form.

Hull have not lost any of their last six games, having beaten Cardiff, QPR and Coventry in that run and they also took a point off highflying Ipswich in their previous game.

Plymouth are fighting against the drop but have lost each of their last two without scoring and should be opposed.
